Born After 30 Years: Incredible Journey Of Thaddeus Daniel Pierce

This is a frozen embryo birth story of Thaddeus Daniel Pierce was born on 𝟐𝟔 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, to Tim Pierce (34) and Lindsey Pierce (35) in the U.S. This couple makes history with courage and faith in Science.

Thaddeus was conceived from a 30 year old embryo created in 1994 through IVF. The embryo belonged to Mrs. Archerd (now 62), who used one of the four embryos herself and gave birth to a daughter (now 31).

Mrs Archerd wanted more than one child so she kept 3 embryos for herself. But she didn’t manage to give birth because of her divorce. After menopause, she decides to donate the embryos to a married Christian couple- it was her wish. In the US many religious agencies work for support donation-adoption of embryos for ethical purposes i.e. every frozen embryo deserves life.

On November 14, 2024, with the help of a Christian adoption agency and an IVF clinic, two embryos (growth of 1 out of 3 stopped) were transferred to Lindsey’s uterus. One did not survive—but the other became Thaddeus.
